Traceability of Customer’s Components in our system
1 Every Component is allotted a UNIQUE ID called PIN in our system
2 Customer’s components are received and a Material Inward Number is allotted to it ( MIN ) against its PIN.
3 A Batch Card is generated for that PIN and given to the Shop Floor with the above MIN linked automatically from the computerized system.
4 When the part is taken up for processing, a log is maintained for the process where the Batch Card is linked to it, thereby linking the MIN to it automatically.
5 When an Invoice is raised during the dispatch of the components, an outward number called MON is generated for the PIN and linked to the earlier MIN thereby,
completely closing the loop of FULL TRACEABILITY for all parts processed in Prithvi Metals.Parts can also be marked with a unique traceability code, with our CNC Pin
Automatic Control and Monitoring of Calibration of Measuring Instruments and Gauges
1 Every instrument, gauge ,or equipment is allotted a UNIQUE ID called PIN in our system.
2 Date of Purchase, Calibration interval, along with other relevant details is recorded in the system against the PIN.
3 The computerized program monitors the current date and compares with the automatically calculated calibration due date and generates a WARNING before the due date.
4 After the calibration is completed and the date is entered, the ‘Next’ due date is generated automatically by resetting the calibration interval which is pre-defined by us.
Engineering Change Note
1 Every Part, including its Intermediate Stages if any, during their manufacturing at our facility, are allotted a UNIQUE ID called PIN in our system.
2 When an engineering change is initiated due to any process requirements, it is entered in a table with an ECN number , against its PIN.
3 Every PIN is also linked to its intermediate stage PIN’s at the time of item creation during the Product Development phase itself.
4 Due to the above, when an ECN is opened against any PIN, all the PIN’s which concern the part are also BLOCKED automatically and a big warning is generated across
the front page of the production related BATCH CARD, thereby warning the user, NOT to take up for production until the ECN is cleared by the system.
5 The ECN format also records the changes made to the PIN or any of its intermediate stages.
6 The BLOCK is not released until and unless all the concerned documents which underwent changes have been recorded with their latest status and revision numbers in the
computerized system, as the program compares the previous and current revision numbers and ensures that they are not the same – thereby ensuring the revisions are
recorded and system updated.
Process Tank Monitoring System
1 Every process Solution Tank in our facility carries a Unique ID and is documented for its physical sizes, its contents, its control and testing methods and its maintenance logs.
The tank monitoring system files hold all relevant information needed to continiously control and monitor the contents of every tank along with relevant standard copies for reference.
The logged data is also captured by our computerised system which contains applications to alert the user of timely interventions potentially required to maintain the tanks based
on their usage data.
